Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The role welcomes new graduates or experienced technologists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment.

Our MRI department uses Siemens and GE systems, and staff will engage in a collaborative, multi-site workflow within a Level III trauma hospital network. A clinical ladder offers growth opportunities and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain ARRT/ARRMRIT MR certification within 18 months of employment.
• Two years’ MRI experience recommended for higher levels.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety before procedures.
• Assist radiologists with protocoling and performance.
• Position patients and operate MR equipment with attention to safety and comfort.
• Schedule patients and manage workflow across multiple MR sites.
• Provide education and training for student technologists and new staff.
