Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Dallas, TX facilities in a PRN capacity. You will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and uphold HIPAA compliance while using EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and at least 3 years of technologist experience. You may travel to multiple Akumin locations as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT
• State license, if applicable required.
• CPR Certification, BLS from AHA or ARC; ACLS where applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable required.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
• Local travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Be responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications and access control for zones and exams.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images per imaging protocols and accreditation guidelines.
• Communicates with customers and radiologists; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Demonstrate competency in contrast safety and administration; manage IVs and vascular access as indicated.
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants on site or remotely.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
