Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Utah seeks an MRI Technologist to create high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes using MRI equipment. You will position patients, select coils, monitor safety, and verify image quality under radiologist guidance.

Required: Bachelor's in Radiography or related field, State RT License, MR certification, and BLS. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a leading non-profit health care system.

Bachelor's Degree in Radiography Program or related field is required.
State RT License / MR Certified / BLS is required.

Responsibilities

Position patient on examining table and place specified coil near area of interest.
Demonstrate use of microphone for patient-technologist communication.
Enter data such as patient history and scan parameters into the computer.
Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters/receivers.
Monitor patient safety and comfort through control room view and CCTV.
View images on display to ensure quality of pictures.
Enter data on keyboard to photograph images.
Warn staff about dangers of metal near magnet.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
