Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or cross-trained in MRI with appropriate credentials.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Verify patient identity and orders, prepare patients for exams, and provide education.
• Review images for quality and accuracy and complete studies within expected timeframes.
• Maintain MRI safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information.
• Operate MRI equipment and related systems effectively.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and other caregivers as needed.
