Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an experienced MRI technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will perform radiographic procedures, manage IV contrast as needed, and ensure patient safety and comfort during scans.

The role requires ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensure where required, and BLS. You will work with PACS/RIS/EMR systems, mentor staff, and support a collaborative imaging team while maintaining strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• State radiologic technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• 1–2 years radiography experience in outpatient, clinical, or hospital setting preferred
• Documented venipuncture and IV contrast administration required
• CT or MRI exposure or training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations per physician orders and protocols
• Assist in positioning patients for MRI/CT exams
• Start IVs and administer contrast material as needed
• Screen patients for contraindications and document findings
• Support remote technologists via ROCC and on-site tasks
• Maintain accurate patient records and enter notes in RIS
• Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control
• Monitor and maintain radiographic equipment
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and staff
• Provide compassionate, efficient patient care
• Assist with imaging center workflow and operations
