Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in California is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate scanners, produce high-resolution diagnostic images, and apply MRI physics knowledge with patient-centric care. You will ensure safety, manage workflow, mentor students, and collaborate with radiologists to uphold high clinical standards across brain, spine, cardiac, and MSK protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification is required/preferred.
• State licensure current where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images and select imaging techniques per physician orders.
• Enforce MRI safety protocols and monitor patients during procedures.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and document accurately in PACS.
• Mentor staff and students; contribute to a positive clinical culture.
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and team members.
