SimonMed Imaging in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-resolution diagnostic images with emphasis on safety and patient care.

You will apply MRI physics, protocol selection, and PACS proficiency while maintaining meticulous documentation and patient comfort in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role offers growth within a national network and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline.
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Ensure MRI safety and patient screening throughout procedures.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
• Document patient information accurately in PACS and radiology reports.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to optimize imaging protocols.
