Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and deliver high-resolution diagnostic images while upholding safety and patient comfort. You will select protocols based on orders, evaluate results before radiologist review, and maintain strict safety zones.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and continued learning in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will work with modern MRI systems, ensuring clean documentation and collaborative patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certification and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Select imaging techniques based on orders and patient condition.
• Evaluate own work before radiologist review.
• Maintain compliance with MRI safety zones and screening protocols.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond calmly to issues.
