Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic images using MRI technology. You will review charts, select coils, perform imaging studies, and collaborate with physicians to optimize sequencing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and/or GED equivalency.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient chart or physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects imaging coil suitable for study and performs MRI studies with proper techniques.
• Works with physicians to optimize MRI sequences for high-quality images.
• Administers contrast media per department protocols.
• Maintains MRI safety and follows infection control guidelines.
• Performs daily clerical duties using EMR/PACS/Teletracking systems.
• Lifts and handles equipment, adheres to safety standards.
