Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a CT technologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation. The role involves positioning patients, administering contrast, operating CT equipment, and ensuring radiation safety per ALARA standards.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT registered, hold an AS degree in Diagnostic Radiology, and be licensed to practice radiologic technology in New Jersey. Experience with EPIC, Radiant and PACS is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered radiologic technologist or eligibility required.
• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Radiology (AS) required.
• Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret CT protocols and position the patient correctly for the exam.
• Operate CT scanner equipment per ALARA radiation standards.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Schedule and transmit images using EPIC, Radiant and PACS.
• Prepare and administer contrast material using the power injector.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
