Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification.
• 1-3 years of general radiology experience.
• Maintains BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physicians as needed.
• Assists in the orientation of new staff and/or students.
• Competent in the use of RIS & PACS system and other IT programs.
• Maintains a neat, clean and stocked work area.
• Obtains proper medical history and ensures accurate patient demographic and medical information.
• Performs all standard techniques for procedure protocols.
• Recognizes the significance of all structures visualized and differentiates normal from abnormal; seeks guidance when needed.
• Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist.
• May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
