RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Tinton Falls, NJ site. This role will perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and support clinical staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a NJ Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and 1–3 years of radiology experience. The position offers day shifts, full-time status, and competitive hourly pay.

MRI Technologist

Location: 100 Pearl Harbor Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 (MMC Specialty Care Center).

Department: MRI. Status: Full-Time. Shift: Day. Pay Range: $51.45 - $61.05 per hour.

At RWJBarnabas Health, MRI Technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental quality standards. They are responsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, including hazardous environments and medical errors, while ensuring exceptional patient care and imaging quality.

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

• Proactively identify challenges, communicate concerns, and contribute solutions to improve patient care and workflow.
• Enjoy caring for diverse patient populations, from neonatal through geriatric.
• Can confidently position patients and apply immobilization devices when necessary.
• Remain calm under pressure and can recognize emergency situations while initiating appropriate code procedures.
• Are committed to maintaining a safe environment by promptly reporting hazards, safety concerns, and medical errors.

To Be Considered:

• Graduate of a Trade/Vocational Program in Radiologic Technology.
• 1-3 years of general radiology experience.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification or ARMRIT certification.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
