RWJBarnabas Health MRI Technologists perform diagnostic MRI procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam. You will uphold quality standards, identify hazards, and report concerns promptly to support accurate imaging and patient care.

Ideal candidates are trained in radiologic technology, hold NJ licensure or ARRT/ARMRIT certification, and can work with contrast media under supervision. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Trade/Vocational Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI procedures following regulatory and departmental standards.
• Identify and report safety concerns to maintain a safe imaging environment.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation of procedures.
• Assist physicians with administration of contrast media during MRI when required.
• Position patients and ensure immobilization for optimal image quality.
