Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will administer contrast when needed, adjust imaging parameters, and guide patients through the exam with clear communication to ensure comfort and understanding.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, maintain strict patient privacy, and uphold safety protocols while delivering accurate imaging results that support optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, safely and effectively.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness and FOV to produce high-quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and patient needs.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications as required.
• Maintain professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.
