Job summary

RadNet in Phoenix, AZ seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety following established protocols. The role involves assisting with contrast administration, adjusting imaging parameters, and guiding patients through the process with clear communication.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if required, and BLS certification, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• BLS certification
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use MRI parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
