Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, administer contrast as needed, and optimize image quality through precise parameter adjustments.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state radiologic licensure if applicable, and BLS. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this process by explaining steps and answering questions regarding exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications in accordance with policies.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
