Job summary

RadNet in California seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed. You will optimize imaging parameters and guide patients through the exam, delivering compassionate and professional care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork and adherence to privacy and safety standards, with opportunities for growth within RadNet centers across the region.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in diagnostic radiologic technology where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust imaging parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through procedures, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
