Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Willamette Falls, OR is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform MR exams according to physician orders, using advanced MRI equipment, with attention to patient needs and safety.

This role features a Saturday/Sunday schedule from 9:30am to 8pm, and includes a $4,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates, along with Providence's comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon MRI Technologist License upon hire.
• Oregon MRI Temporary License upon hire.
• BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT MRI Certification within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT MRI Technologist Certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders.
• Uses advanced MRI equipment with attention to patient needs and safety.
• Applies imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images.
• Provides patient care and documentation as part of the imaging study.

Part Time/Variable - working Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-8pm

The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient’s special or age‑related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
