Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Willamette Falls, OR is seeking an MRI Tech for a part‑time, variable schedule with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:30am to 8:00pm. A $4,000 sign‑on bonus is offered to eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions, alongside Providence’s comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Requires Oregon MRI Technologist license or temporary license at hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association at hire.
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire.
• National MRI Technologist certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates may require OBMI temporary license with plan to obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, using MRI equipment and adjusting imaging factors to produce optimal images.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging and documents findings and patient information as required.

Part Time/Variable - working Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-8pm

The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
