Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures and operate related equipment per departmental standards. You will handle orders, prepare patients, and monitor during exams to ensure safety and quality results.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility within 1 year of hire and CPR certification, with strong emphasis on patient care, documentation, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Performs MRI procedures with proficiency using scanner and post-processing equipment.
• Identifies patients and explains procedures; verifies orders with Radiologist.
• Prepares patients and documents medical history and requisitions.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards; follows radiation safety guidelines.
