Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to deliver high-resolution images with precision, safety, and compassionate patient care. You will operate MRI scanners across brain, spine, cardiac and MSK protocols, ensuring diagnostic quality and strict safety standards.

Applicants should bring ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, current state licensure, CPR/BLS, and a solid background in MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and contrast protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline.
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images and select imaging techniques per orders.
• Ensure patient safety by enforcing MRI safety zones and screening protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; monitor patients during procedures.
• Document procedures clearly and keep records current in PACS.
• Adapt workflows when protocols shift or patient needs change mid-scan.
• Mentor staff and students to support a positive clinical culture.
