SimonMed Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate scanners and deliver high-resolution diagnostic images in a busy outpatient setting. You will ensure MRI safety, optimize protocols, and maintain equipment while providing compassionate patient care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and adherence to clinical standards. Candidates should have ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, current state licensure, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• CPR/BLS certified and current
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates
• Calm under pressure and sharp under a deadline
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images based on physician orders
• Ensure MRI safety protocols are followed for every patient and scan
• Maintain and monitor MRI equipment and performance, including routine QC checks
• Manage own workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting with efficient protocols
• Provide clear explanations to patients and support calming, comfortable experiences
• Mentor students or junior staff and contribute to team education
