Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Tampa seeks an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with precision and safety. You will operate MRI scanners, select imaging techniques per orders, and ensure patient comfort throughout exams.

Ideal candidates have ARRT-MR or ARMRIT, current state licensure, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of high-volume MRI experience, with strong PACS and imaging software skills and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• Valid state licensure current where required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required/current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images and select techniques per orders.
• Ensure MRI safety is integrated into every procedure and monitor patients.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
• Document procedures clearly in PACS and imaging records.
• Mentor staff and students and uphold high clinical standards.
