Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient comfort. The role emphasizes MRI physics knowledge, protocol selection, and patient management in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will operate MRI scanners, ensure image quality, and maintain safety standards while mentoring staff and collaborating with radiologists and physicians. This position offers stability in a national imaging network.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid state licensure current where required.
• Hands-on CPR/BLS certification and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Confident in contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Select imaging techniques based on orders and patient condition; evaluate your work before radiologist review.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and screen patients; monitor during procedures.
• Manage workflow, perform routine quality checks, and maintain equipment.
• Mentor staff and students; contribute to a positive clinical culture.
