Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-resolution scans with precision and patient-focused care. You will ensure safety, select appropriate imaging techniques, and maintain accurate documentation in PACS while collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ARRT or equivalent certification; state licensure as required.
• CPR/BLS certified and current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.
• MRI safety zones and screening protocols second nature.
• Proficiency in PACS and imaging software systems.
• Experience with contrast administration and contraindication assessment.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians and teammates.
• Calm under pressure and deadline-driven.
• Willingness to mentor staff and students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Select imaging techniques based on orders and patient condition.
• Evaluate own work before radiologist review.
• Maintain MRI safety, supervise screening, and manage patient comfort.
• Document accurately in PACS and medical records.
• Manage own workflow and perform quality control checks.
