Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an MRI Technologist for onsite work in Peabody, MA. The role covers preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, acquiring images, and displaying results. You may rotate to different MRI scanners and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure high-quality studies.

This full-time position is scheduled 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist with ARRT OR ARMRIT certification within one year.
• MRI experience with multiple patient populations.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment and perform QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission.
• Conduct MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients with image acquisition.
• Safely perform IV insertions and contrast injections; document in EMR.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce safety protocols.
• Perform quality control checks on MRI equipment and report issues.
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, inventory, and filing.
