Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Peabody, MA is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters and acquire images across scanners. This role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT within one year.

This full-time position offers 40 hours weekly, weekends off, a $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility, excellent benefits and free parking, and opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging.
• Licenses: ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred within one year of hire.
• Experience: MRI tech experience with 0-1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission.
• Perform MRI scans and process images with diagnostic quality.
• Carry out IV insertions and contrast injections with adverse reaction monitoring.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce protocols.
• Perform QC checks on MRI equipment and report issues.
• Assist with scheduling, transport, inventory and filing.
