Job summary

Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to safely perform MRI studies, including patient prep, positioning, protocol selection, image acquisition, and QA. Must rotate among MRI scanners within the department and coordinate with radiologists and nurses as needed.

The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification within one year of hire, and MRI tech experience with diverse patient populations (0-1 year). Onsite work with a rotating shift and generous benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• MR imaging technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification within 1 year of hire.
• MRI tech experience with multiple patient populations (0-1 year) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients, including image acquisition and processing.
• Verify patient identity and exam details; document procedures in EMR.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to equipment-related emergencies.
