Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7am shift on-site at 2014 Washington Street. New rates plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus; free parking and benefits start on day one; minimum pay rate $48/hr with increases for experience.

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI studies, prepare patients, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff.

Qualifications

• MRI Tech experience with multiple patient populations; 0-1 year required.
• MRI certification/licensing strongly preferred (ARRT MR or ARMRIT).
• Education in Medical Imaging required or Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission standards.
• Conduct MRI scans with image acquisition and processing.
• Safely perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce protocols; respond to emergencies.
• Perform quality control checks on MRI equipment and report issues.
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, inventory, and filing.
