Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an MRI Technologist at Martha's Vineyard Hospital to safeguard the MRI environment and interview patients using screening forms. You will follow up on indications, assist in the MRI suite, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with radiologists and physicians, adjusting scanner factors, and performing exams per MVH and MGH protocols.

Qualifications

• IV competency required.
• Knowledge of GE 1.5 Tesla scanner and associated software.
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe MRI environment.
• Interview patients effectively and thoroughly.
• Inform patients about the procedure and address questions.
• Assist in patient positioning and transfer of limited patients.
• Sanitize surfaces between cases and ensure sterile technique.
