Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a certified MRI Technologist for Martha's Vineyard Hospital. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, assist in positioning, and collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging quality.

Requires ARRT-R and ARRT-MR, CPR certification, and 2 years' MRI experience. The role is full-time on-site with standard shift patterns; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and ARRT-MR registries required, CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of MRI technologist experience.
• Strong patient communication and safety mindset.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean MRI unit and environment.
• Interview patients effectively and address claustrophobia/anxiety.
• Assist in patient positioning and transfer for MRI exams.
• Set up and remove MRI coils, cushions, and linens.
• Enter and edit exams in Meditech; coordinate with radiology staff.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with GE support as needed.
