Job summary

Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking an MRI technologist to perform and coordinate MRI studies. The role includes patient preparation, positioning, protocol selection, image processing, safety oversight, and QA tasks in a hospital setting.

The position is a 36-hour day shift (Thursday/Saturday/Sunday 6:30am-7pm) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus; on-site at 243-245 Charles Street, Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging required; Associate's preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification to be completed within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform MRI studies using MRI system.
• Prepare patients, position them, and set imaging parameters to acquire quality images.
• Perform computer processing and display images; select appropriate protocols.

Education

Certificate/Diploma in medical imaging
