Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Chelsea seeks an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging. Under general supervision, you will prepare patients, position them, select imaging protocols, acquire images, and perform quality assurance.

Eligible candidates must have ARRT MR credential within one year of hire; MRI experience is preferred. The role includes patient education, safety vigilance, and collaboration with a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI-focused education or certificate.
• ARRT MR credential required within one year of hire.
• Experience with MRI equipment and patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission standards.
• Conduct MRI scans for outpatient procedures, including image acquisition and processing.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections, monitor for adverse reactions, document in EMR.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to equipment-related issues.
