Job summary

Vanderbilt Health MRI Imaging department seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to perform comprehensive MRI exams under Radiologist supervision. Proficient in MRI unit operation, safety protocols, and patient care, you will guide patients through procedures and coordinate with physicians for accurate imaging results.

The role requires ARRT licensure, a radiologic technology program graduate, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

• Use MRI equipment to create cross‑sectional image scans of patients to help doctors diagnose and treat illness or disease.
• Interact directly with patients and physicians.
• May administer intravenous injections of contrast dyes.
• Maintain safety measures that are specific to MRI.
• Communicate with the care team as needed.
• Ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe.
