Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of imaging experience.
• Performs imaging procedures with independent judgment for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintains MR safety in the department.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and gathers relevant history.

Responsibilities

• Practices and maintains MR safety in the department.
• Maintains clinical competencies for all exams and equipment.
• Performs procedures for reviewing processing and archiving.
• Prior to start of exam, reads and presents all relevant information to the physician based on protocol.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and applies universal protocol.
• Ensures exams are properly coded and archived in RIS/ISITE systems.
