Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at St. Rita’s Medical Center to perform MRI procedures per established protocols under radiologist supervision. You will train students, support onboarding, and participate in quality assurance while maintaining patient safety and efficient workflow.

Required ARRT MRI Registry or ARMRIT, 1 year MRI dept experience preferred, and BLS. State licensure preferred. Mercy Health offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities within our hospital

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from ARRT-accredited institute preferred.
• MRI Registry from ARRT/ARMRIT required.
• State licensure preferred (where applicable).
• BLS from American Heart Association required at hire for Mercy locations.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and related equipment per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Provides patient education on exam and contrast administration.
• Assists in training students and onboarding new staff.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintains accurate patient records and protocol compliance.
