Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols, ensuring high-quality images.
• Reviews patient questionnaires and histories to identify contraindications and safety concerns.
• Operates MRI and processing equipment following safety guidelines and protocols.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams, addressing questions and reducing anxiety.
• Ensures MRI safety standards and zones, verifying readiness before scans.
• Documents clinical history with exam findings for radiologist review.
• Maintains inventory of MRI supplies and equipment, ensuring sterility.
• Verifies physician orders and patient identification prior to procedures.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results.
• Monitors MRI equipment functionality and reports issues promptly.
