Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI equipment, produce high-quality images, and support radiologists in interpretation. The role includes EMR/PACS navigation, patient positioning, and delivering patient-centered care following imaging protocols.

The position requires education in Radiologic Technology or MRI, BLS, ARRT MR certification (or ARMRIT) within one year of hire, plus 2 years radiography and 1 year MRI experience. OSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
BLS from American Heart Association and MRI ARRT/ARMRIT certification or must obtain within one year.
2 years radiography experience and 1 year MRI experience.
ARRT(R) registered or eligible and in good standing.

Responsibilities

Care for patients while operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
Navigate EMR/PACS and provide patient care, including positioning and procedure information.
Execute proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations and ensure regulatory compliance for safe care.
