Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and positioning.
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and troubleshooting.
• Commitment to patient-care and communication during procedures.

Responsabilités

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, following guidelines.
• Adheres to ALARA and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, identifies patients with two identifiers, explains procedures.
• Demonstrates competency across diverse patient demographics.
• Cleans and maintains imaging equipment; follows infection control protocols.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are organized and available for patient care.
• Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections in CT/MRI per policy.
• Documents scans into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates with peers, physicians, and staff to support patient care.
• Identifies and mitigates artifacts to maintain image quality.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
