Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or ARRT pathway.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT/ARMRIT, or ARRT R.T.(N) or CNMT via ARDMS/NMTCB.
• MR certification required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams and procedures per protocol.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams.
• Maintain high equipment uptime and report malfunctions.
• Process billing in RIS and mentor new hires.
• Attend in-service programs and professional sessions.
