Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI examinations and educate patients. You will ensure comfort and safety, adhere to protocols, and contribute to a high-quality imaging service in a busy hospital setting.

This PRN role covers weekdays and weekends with shifts across early mornings and evenings; the successful candidate will possess ARRT MR certification or equivalent, BLS, and strong patient communication skills to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI Credentialing or ARRT Radiologic Technologist MR eligibility required.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per protocol and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment and exams.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Report equipment malfunctions and ensure uptime for patient access.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
• Process billing via RIS.
• Attend in-service programs and professional sessions.
