Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist I, PRN. You will perform routine MRI exams and ensure patient comfort and safety across ages. The role offers exposure to advanced imaging technologies and supports a welcoming patient experience.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT/MRI or CNMT credentials and BLS; MRI certification within one year of hire. PRN shifts vary; opportunities to mentor staff and participate in in-service programs are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARMRIT or ARRT R.T.(R)/(S)/(T) in good standing; CNMT acceptable.
• MRI Certification: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) required within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams and procedures for patients of all ages.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Report malfunctions and observe equipment issues; request service as needed.
• Maintain high equipment uptime for patient access.
• Process billing via RIS.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and radiology students.
• Attend in-service programs and professional sessions.
