Job summary

Qualifications

• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and refer orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Prepare patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Interview patient history and document on requisitions.
• Perform MRI scans and assist during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast in MAR.
• Report equipment malfunctions and ensure patient safety.
