Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Active enrollment in MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders for each patient.
• Perform MRI scans and assist physicians during procedures.
• Prepare patients with full explanations, obtain medical history, and identify patients using two identifiers.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record details.
• Maintain radiation safety and clean, organized work areas.
