Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program.
• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures accurately and safely.
• Knowledge of safety standards, image processing, and anatomy recognition.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures such as neuro, body, and extremity MRI following radiologist protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed by a Radiologist.
• Ensure safety standards are met, including equipment quality control and safety in the MRI environment.
• Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy on images.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and manage supply levels.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and act as a liaison within the radiology team.
• Handle non-controlled medications during procedures.
