Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and ensure patient safety and high image quality. You will independently conduct or support MRIs, prepare and administer prescribed medications, and analyze imaging data for accuracy.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, ALARA principles, and collaboration with licensed practitioners to support diagnostic workflows.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required or obtainable before employment.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology training program; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical parameters, and apply ALARA principles to ensure safety.
• Administer medications through vascular access as prescribed, document activities accurately.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality, verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Apply safety principles to minimize risks to patients and staff.
• Assist licensed practitioners with MR interventions and procedures.
• Select appropriate pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition needs.
• Participate in MRI safety assessments and implant safety investigations.
