Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality results in a clinical setting.

You will prepare and position patients, perform neuro, body, and extremity scans, and manage IV contrast under radiologist protocols. This role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification and strong communication with staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT or equivalent certification required.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging procedures, and patient care.
• Strong communication, technical, and equipment troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and answer questions.
• Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
• Administer IV contrast and handle venous access as directed.
• Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy.
• Conduct equipment quality control and report malfunctions.
• Manage supplies, act as a liaison to physicians, and support radiological needs.
