Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will position patients, explain exams, and administer IV contrast as directed, entering imaging data accurately and assisting with equipment QC.

The role requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology program and certification (ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT) upon hire, with ongoing certification.

Qualifications

Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures, including neuro, body, and extremity scans, following radiologist protocols.
Prepare and position patients, explain exams, and answer questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
Enter data accurately into imaging systems and process images appropriately.
Identify anatomical structures on images and perform equipment quality control tests.
Report equipment issues and coordinate supply management.
Support physicians with radiological needs and handle non-controlled medications during procedures.
