Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and data integrity. The role involves preparing patients, verifying orders, and applying imaging protocols to optimize results.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification or equivalent, have graduated from a Radiologic Technology program, and possess strong technical and safety skills to work independently within clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Certification in ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent required upon hire.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures, knowledge of safety protocols, and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients, verifying orders, and ensuring proper identification and confidentiality.
• Applying imaging protocols, optimizing technical factors, and ensuring patient safety per ALARA principles.
• Administering medications via vascular access as prescribed and evaluating image quality and data transfer.
• Educating and monitoring students and healthcare providers, adhering to MRI safety standards, and assisting with interventional procedures.
• Selecting pulse sequences, ensuring safety, and participating in MRI safety implant investigations.
