Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking a MRI Technologist to join the imaging team. The role involves performing diagnostic MR procedures, ensuring MR safety, administering contrast media as directed, and maintaining accurate patient records in a patient-centered environment.

The position supports education for student technologists and collaboration with radiologists, with opportunities for growth and involvement in research protocols across the Duke Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARRT/ARMRIT MR registration within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance.
• Assist radiologist with protocoling and performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and label appropriately.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow across MR sites.
• Educate and train new technologists and physicians.
• Assist in development of MR protocols and research imaging.
